The X Street Navigation Center provides safety to men and women experiencing homelessness in Sacramento
In partnership with SHRA and the City of Sacramento, this 100-bed shelter will provide a safe place for adults struggling with homelessness as well as case management and housing assistance, with the goal of moving our guests out of homelessness and into independent living.

HOW TO ACCESS THE SHELTER
The VOA outreach team and the City of Sacramento’s Department of Community Response will identify individuals living outside in the immediate vicinity of the X Street Navigation Center as the first priority. GUESTS
Priority is given to adults who are living outdoors in the immediate vicinity of the X Street Navigation Center. There is storage for possessions and dog kennels on site.
HOW LONG CAN GUESTS STAY?
VOA’s goal is to move our guests into more permanent housing as soon as possible, based on the individual’s needs.
WHAT SERVICES ARE PROVIDED?
In addition to shelter, the center will offer services based on the individual’s needs, such as mental health services, life skills classes, recovery assistance, and employment preparation. Housing retention case management services are also provided.
