The Village on Sage Street in Reno has expanded its affordable housing capacity by nearly 50%, adding 96 new single-occupancy units to its existing 216. Operated by Volunteers of America and supported by the Community Foundation of Northern Nevada, the Village provides low-income residents with safe, transitional housing. Since 2019, it has housed over 500 individuals, helping many achieve financial stability and permanent housing.
